Must be an actively enrolled, undergraduate, graduate, or professional student through December 2018 (including international students).

Q. What is the university’s policy on student owned IP?

Q. What if I’m not a residential student?

A. If you are selected for the next round, the 8-week spring training program is online. However, you will have to be present to pitch on your campus in fall 2018, March 2019, and in April 2019 in Columbia, MO if you are selected to advance to the final round.

Q. Does my venture have to be an individual student or a team of students?

A. It can be either. The primary student entering the competition must be enrolled at one of the four UM System universities.

Q. Can I really win up to $30,000?

A. Yes, you can. The first place winner at each university will win $15,000 and the first place winner across the system will also win $15,000.

Q. What is the goal of the program?
